Sweet almond oil (Prunus dulcis) has been used in skincare since ancient Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine — pressed from the edible sweet almond, not the bitter variety. It's one of the most widely used carrier oils in the world for good reason: it's lightweight, deeply nourishing, and gentle enough for every skin type including sensitive skin and babies.
It's rich in Vitamin E, Vitamin A, oleic acid, and linoleic acid — the fatty acids that moisturise deeply, support the skin barrier, and reduce inflammation. Where jojoba sits on the surface and balances sebum, almond oil penetrates. It's the massage therapist's standard carrier for a reason — it glides beautifully, absorbs without greasiness, and leaves skin genuinely soft.
At $10 for 50ml it's the most underpriced product in this range. The same oil that appears in premium skincare products at ten times the price per ml — in their ingredient list, somewhere near the bottom, diluted into a formula with twenty other things. This is just the oil. Nothing else.
Deep moisture for dry skin. Stretch marks and scars. Eczema and psoriasis. Makeup removal. Under-eye puffiness. The most versatile $10 you'll spend on your skin.
Important: Contains tree nuts. Do not use if you have a nut allergy. Patch test before use.
100% pure sweet almond oil. Cold pressed. Nothing added.

Hemp carrier oil (Cannabis sativa) is cold pressed from hemp seeds — not the leaves or flowers, which means it contains no THC and no CBD. It has nothing to do with cannabis as a drug. It's a seed oil, like sunflower or grape seed, and it's one of the most nutrient-dense carrier oils available.
Its fatty acid profile is exceptional — rich in omega-6 and omega-3 in the ideal 3:1 ratio that mirrors what your skin needs to function properly. Gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) is the standout compound — a powerful anti-inflammatory that calms acne, eczema, and psoriasis at the cellular level while simultaneously supporting skin barrier repair and new cell generation.
What makes it different from other carrier oils is its affinity for oily and acne-prone skin. Most oils clog pores. Hemp seed oil doesn't — its lipid profile is close enough to your skin's own sebum that it absorbs without blocking follicles. It moisturises without adding to the problem.
Deep moisture without clogging pores. Oily and acne-prone skin. Inflamed, reactive skin. Eczema and psoriasis. Anti-aging facial oil. Scalp treatments for dry or flaky scalps. Hair conditioning.
Note: Has a natural earthy, slightly nutty scent. Store in a cool dark place — it oxidises faster than jojoba or almond.

Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) is technically not an oil — it's a liquid wax, cold pressed from the seeds of a desert shrub native to North America. That distinction matters because wax esters behave differently on skin to fat-based oils. Jojoba's molecular structure is so similar to the sebum your skin naturally produces that your skin essentially can't tell them apart.
This is what makes it the most versatile carrier in this range. Because it so closely resembles natural sebum, applying it to skin sends a signal to sebaceous glands to regulate their own oil production — which means it works for dry skin that needs moisture and oily skin that needs balancing. It's non-comedogenic, meaning it won't block pores regardless of skin type.
It's also the only carrier oil in this range that doesn't go rancid. Its wax ester structure gives it an exceptionally long shelf life — years, not months — which makes it the most practical choice for homemade serums, roller blends, and facial oils you make in small batches.
All skin types including acne-prone. Facial serum base. Makeup remover. Scalp and hair treatment. Roller bottle base for essential oil blends. The most skin-compatible carrier in this range.
100% pure jojoba liquid wax. Cold pressed. Nothing added.

As a carrier oil for essential oils
Add your chosen essential oil to your carrier oil before applying to skin. A standard dilution is 2% — approximately 12 drops of essential oil per 30ml of carrier oil. For facial use, drop to 1%. For children, drop to 0.5%.
Relaxation massage oil
Add 6 drops of Lavender and 4 drops of Frankincense to 30ml of your carrier oil. Warm slightly between palms before applying. Works on any of the three oils — almond gives the best glide for massage.
Facial serum
Add 4 drops of Frankincense and 3 drops of Geranium to 15ml of carrier oil. Apply 3-4 drops to clean, slightly damp skin morning or night. Jojoba or almond work best for this.
Muscle relief roller
Add 6 drops of Peppermint and 4 drops of Wintergreen to a 10ml roller bottle. Top with carrier oil. Roll onto shoulders, temples, or lower back. Apply before tension sets in, not after.
Blemish treatment
Add 4 drops of Tea Tree and 2 drops of Lavender to 10ml of carrier oil in a roller bottle. Apply directly to blemishes morning and night. Hemp or jojoba work best for acne-prone skin.
Hair and scalp treatment
Massage 2-3 teaspoons of carrier oil into the scalp. Work through the hair to the ends. Leave for 20-30 minutes or overnight. Wash out with shampoo. All three oils work — jojoba is lightest, almond gives the most shine.
Makeup removal
Apply a small amount to a cotton pad and sweep across the face. All makeup including eye makeup lifts without irritation. Rinse with warm water and follow with your cleanser.
Storage
Keep in a cool dark place. Hemp oxidises fastest — use within 12 months of opening. Jojoba has the longest shelf life and can be stored for several years.
