Smells incredible. The quality is exactly what they say it is.

— Verified customer ★★★★★

You'll know within ten seconds.

Use a capful in a floor wash. By the time you've finished the kitchen, the whole house smells like the bush after rain. Sheets pulled out of the laundry have it. The bathroom keeps it for hours. A few drops on a cloth, and the bench is done.

That's what people mean when they leave a review and write, "smells amazing," "the only one I'll buy," "a tiny splash is all you need."

A capful does what a quarter of a supermarket bottle can't.

"A tiny splash of this high grade Eucalyptus oil in a bucket of hot water cleans hard floors totally and leaves a wonderful bushland scent."

One bottle. Decades of jobs.

Customers tell us they've been buying the same oil for ten, twenty, thirty years. They use it for everything — floors, laundry, the bathroom, sticky labels, mould on the wall, the diffuser, blocked sinuses, stains on the carpet, the pet bedding, even the caravan toilet.

One bottle on the laundry shelf, the strongest you can buy, that lasts longer than the things you'd otherwise be replacing.

Distilled in Australia since 1895.

Five generations. One species (Blue Mallee). One method. One promise — if you've ever bought a bottle of "eucalyptus oil" off a supermarket shelf and wondered why it didn't smell like much, this is the one that will explain it to you.

(See The Imported Lie for why most eucalyptus oil sold in Australia isn't Australian.)
One bottle. The whole house. Here's the dose for each job.

Five generations of customers have figured this out. We're just writing it down.

"This is the best value, high grade, pure eucalyptus you can buy. I use it for so many things in my home: in my washing machine, to clean my bathroom, toilet, kitchen benches, floors, as a nasal clearing agent, chest congestion, removing sticky labels and residue, removing greasy marks on any surface — and the list goes on!"

The house

Floor wash — a capful in a bucket of warm water. Mop. Don't rinse. The whole house will smell like a paddock at 6am.

Laundry rinse — 10 drops in the softener compartment. Sheets pull out of the dryer still carrying it.

Bench spray (the DIY recipe customers keep asking for) — 500ml spray bottle: 50ml white vinegar + 50ml methylated spirits + 30 drops Blue Mallee. Top up with water. Shake before each use. Cuts grease, cleans glass, lifts marks.

Mould on walls and grout — neat on a cloth. Let it sit ten minutes. Wipe.

Sticky labels and gum — one drop on a cloth lifts the residue clean.

Stovetop grease — a few drops on a damp microfibre. Cooked-on comes off without scrubbing.

The medicine cabinet

Steam inhalation — 3 drops in a bowl of hot water. Towel over the head. Two minutes.

Diffuser — 6–8 drops. Lasts 4–6 hours.

Sleep / pillow — 2 drops on a tissue near the pillow. Not directly on skin.

The unusual ones

These are what customers told us.

Caravan toilet — a capful in the cassette rinse water, weekly.

AC filters — a few drops on the filter before installation. The whole room carries it.

Pet bedding — 3 drops in the rinse cycle.

Leather conditioning — 1 drop on a cloth. Spot test first. Conditions; doesn't strip.

The rule of thumb: less than you think.

Pure Blue Mallee runs strong. A capful is doing the work of half a supermarket bottle. Always start with the dose above and work up — you'll almost never need more.

Don't apply pure oil to broken skin or near eyes. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dark cupboard — sealed, it lasts indefinitely.
Real questions from real customers — answered straight.

Why is yours more expensive than the supermarket bottle?

Two reasons.

First, ours is grown and distilled in Australia from Blue Mallee at 88–92% cineole. The cheap bottles are typically Chinese-distilled from different species at 60–70%. Different oil. Different price.

Second, you use a fraction of it. A capful of ours does what a quarter of the cheap bottle would. Over a year, ours costs less per use even though the sticker price is higher.

(For the full story, see the Imported Lie tab.)

What's actually different about Blue Mallee?

Blue Mallee (Eucalyptus polybractea) is the species with the highest cineole content of any commercial eucalyptus on earth — typically 88–92%. Cineole is the active compound that smells, cleans, and clears your sinuses.

Most other "eucalyptus oil" is Eucalyptus globulus or mixed plantation species at 60–70%. Same plant family. Different chemistry. Different result.

What's the dilution rate for…?

Floor wash — a capful in a bucket of warm water.
Laundry rinse — 10 drops in the softener compartment.
Bench/surface spray — 30 drops in 500ml water + 50ml metho + 50ml vinegar.
Mould on walls — neat on a cloth, sit 10 minutes, wipe.
Diffuser — 6–8 drops.
Steam inhalation — 3 drops in a bowl of hot water, towel over head.
Caravan toilet — a capful in the cassette rinse, weekly.

Always start with the lower dose. You'll almost never need more.

Is it safe around pets?

Depends on the pet. Honest answer:

Dogs — yes, in dilute form. 3 drops in the laundry rinse for bedding is fine. Don't apply pure oil directly to skin or paws.

Cats — use caution. Cats lack the liver enzymes to metabolise some essential oil compounds, including cineole. We don't recommend using eucalyptus oil in cat-accessible areas, on their bedding, or in diffusers running in rooms they enter.

Birds — same as cats. Avoid in their rooms.

Is it safe during pregnancy or for babies?

We're not doctors and won't pretend to be.

General industry guidance: avoid using essential oils around babies under 3 months, and consult your healthcare provider before use during pregnancy or with very young children. For older children, dilute well, keep away from eyes, use sparingly.

If your provider has given you specific advice — pure single-species Blue Mallee with no additives gives you something simple to discuss with them.

Can I take it internally?

We sell it as an essential oil for cleaning and aromatherapy. We don't market it for ingestion or cooking.

If an aromatherapy practitioner has guided you on internal use, what's in the bottle is pure, single-species Blue Mallee with no carrier oils, no preservatives, and no additives. But we won't make claims about ingestion safety — that's between you and your practitioner.

What's the shelf life? How should I store it?

Sealed, in a cool dark cupboard — indefinitely. We have customers using oil they bought ten years ago.

Keep away from heat and direct sunlight. The amber bottle exists for a reason — light degrades essential oils over time.

Will it damage my surfaces?

Safe on most: sealed wood, tile, stone, painted walls, glass, metal, sealed countertops.

Spot-test on porous, untreated, or specialty surfaces first — raw timber, natural latex, some plastics, finished leather. For carpet stains, blot, don't rub.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, but contact us first — essential oils have shipping restrictions in some countries (especially aerial freight). We can't ship to every postcode but we'll tell you in 24 hours if we can ship to yours.
